GenAI Powered Content Compliance for UK Government Websites

The Problem

The UK Government faced challenges in ensuring that content across its GOV.UK websites was accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with content design standards. Manual checks were time-consuming and prone to human error, leading to potential misinformation and inefficiencies in content management across the vast estate of over 700,000 pages.

The Solution

Using the Great Wave AI Platform, a GenAI-powered system was developed to automate the scanning and evaluation of web pages and PDFs against specific criteria. The system processes URLs, assessing each page for accuracy, expired information, adherence to content design standards, and conflicting or duplicate guidance.

The output is a detailed report for each URL, highlighting scores and categories for compliance.
